🚨 Attention all followers! 🚨 We’ve recently received a message from someone claiming to be part of our HR team offering part-time job opportunities to the public.
Unfortunately, we have reason to believe that this is a scam, as the phone number used is not associated with our company.
We want to make it clear that we do not offer such positions and that we have no connection whatsoever with these scammers.
The WebHero Job Scam
We have received reports of scammers impersonating our company’s HR assistant named Aminah, who does not exist in our team.
The scammers are using phone numbers +601160910987 and +601137981918 to offer fake part-time jobs and communicate with job seekers through Telegram. We believe that there may be additional phone numbers being used by these scammers that are not affiliated with our company.
They may ask you to do small tasks and later ask you to purchase something, with the promise of reimbursement. Please be aware that these scammers are not associated with WebHero and do not engage in digital marketing as we do.
The WebHero job scam is a classic example of how scammers use digital marketing as a cover to defraud unsuspecting individuals. The scammers impersonate HR representatives and offer part-time job opportunities that seem too good to be true. They typically promise easy work and high pay rates for simple tasks such as clicking ‘Like’ on YouTube videos.
To make matters worse, scammers may also ask job applicants to purchase something, under the guise of testing their ability to follow instructions. They may also ask for personal information that can be used for identity theft or other malicious purposes.
Don’t Fall for the WebHero Job Scam: Do Not Pay Anything
If you receive any messages or calls from someone claiming to be from WebHero and offering a digital marketing job, please be cautious.
Remember, we do not offer such positions and would never ask job applicants to purchase anything. If you are unsure whether a job offer is legitimate or not, please verify with us directly by emailing us.
Our email addresses always end with our domain, which is webhero.com.my. We never use Gmail or other free email services to reply to job inquiries.
If you have any information about the WebHero job scam or any other scams, please contact us by sending a screenshot of the scam to our email address. This will help us take action against the scammers and prevent them from defrauding others.
